I’m Bec. I’m a part-time blogger, full-time Mother and wife that currently resides in Gippsland, Victoria.
My love for makeup and skincare started quite early. As a 16-year-old, my first job was at a local pharmacy that housed an Estée Lauder counter. I spent so much time hovering about that section of the store learning about all the products that were available at the time, what to look for when purchasing a product and really testing out as much as I could. A few years later I accepted a position at a Priceline store as the beauty advisor. Here I was able to attend training nights, work with different products and extend my knowledge about other cosmetic and skincare brands on the market. Flash forward all these years later and my love for beauty has never changed. If anything it has only grown stronger.
After giving birth to my first daughter in June of 2013 I found myself feeling self-conscious about how I looked. So I began researching online for little pick-me-up tips that I could do from home to make myself look and feel better. That’s when I stumbled across the online beauty community, so many people of all ages sharing their love for beauty products and current trends. This is something I had been doing for years too but only being able to share that information with family and friends. Now since having my second child, I’ve turned more to researching ways I can get most out of my day without compromising on time for myself. Using this platform, I hope to share new brands and products with you that work as well as advertised and give you some helpful (and time-saving) hints that will make your beauty routine quicker and will have you feeling fantastic even if the kids are hanging around your feet and trashing your bathroom.
I hope you enjoy the posts and continue to keep coming back. I’m always happy to accept post suggestion too. When I’m not writing posts you will find me on Instagram Twitter and Facebook I have also started a YouTube channel too there are links to these accounts on the main page as well so make sure you come over and say Hi.
