Christmas Makeup Palettes & Kits are always a fun gift idea and a personal favourite of mine. This time of the year brands release some of the best bang for you buck holiday kits. I personally love to shop for makeup this way as it gives me a chance to try some products that you wouldn’t usually think to purchase and the value for money is always great. I’ve got 5 ideas for you that will satisfy the needs of the biggest beauty junkies.
Tarte Blush Bazaar Palette: Tarte has consistently blown me away with their products this year and they are definitely a top 3 brand for me. I have wanted to try their blushes for the longest time but living in an area that doesn’t have a Sephora store close by meant I was never able to swatch them. When the announcement was made about their holiday collection and which included this palette I knew I had to have it. However, with all the sales and temptation I would find myself removing it from my cart before checking out. I was just so worried that the hype around their blushes was going to fall flat for me and I would be left feeling disappointed. It wasn’t until a month ago I was shopping in Melbourne and saw it on the stands in Sephora. I took it as a sign that I needed to have it and purchased immediately. The palette contains a whopping 10 shades. 8 bushes and 2 highlighters consisting of their popular Amazonian clay formula. Although they are not full size (pans are around the size of a 50cAUD piece) the pigmentation is incredible so a little goes a long way. This palette will last forever.

The formula seems to sit on the skin so perfectly and has the ability to look so natural and lets your skin be the hero. Every year Hourglass releases their always anticipated Ambient Lighting Palettes. Whilst in recent years I’ve held back from purchasing, this year I couldn’t resist. It contains 2 blushes in Surreal Halo and Pure Effect, the Luminous Bronze Light Bronzer, the 2 all over powders in Dim Light and Diffused Light, and the Hypnotic Strobe Light strobing powder.

Stilla Written In The Stars Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow Set: I picked up one of the full-size cream shadows a while back on a whim, I had seen my lovely friend Amea use them in a number of her videos and they always seemed to look so easy to use. From the first application, they were just that. By adding in a crease colour and this on the lid and could fool anyone into thinking you have spent hours creating the perfect glitter look. Designer Brands Holiday Palettes*: Designer Brands has been killing it recently. I fell in love with their products after trying the Luminous Hydrating Foundation. The quality is up there with a lot of my high-end products and I’ve also managed to find a number is high-end dupes from this brand too. The shadows are a beautiful formula and blend seamlessly. The Up In Lights palette has been my recent favourite of mine too. If makeup is something you only wear on occasion or you have a daughter or son who is just starting out with makeup then this is definitely the brand to use. The avid beauty junkie would most likely have similar products in their collection already bit if you are a must have collector you need this brand in your collection.
