L’Oreal Glam Beige Foundation Review

L'Oreal Glam Beige Foundation Review

I think you would know by now I am a sucker for a good base. I love nothing more than the look of hydrated, bright and radiant skin. When I saw the latest from L’Oréal, the Glam Beige Healthy Glow Foundation I knew I had to try it. I mean just that name alone gives me all the feels!

L’Oréal claims that this foundation is infused with light reflecting pearls that absorb quickly into skin for a natural, radiant glow. Glam Beige Foundation is a lightweight formula infused with light reflecting pearls for a natural and radiant glow. Developed with colour adjusting pigments, choose your desired depth of color as the shade self-adjusts to match your undertone.

The product is encased in a plastic squeeze tube and has a strong floral skincare style scent, which I love. It also contains an SPF15 I find that I get a light coverage that I can be built up to medium if needed. I needed to use quite a bit of product for it to last all day on my skin and to actually get the glow it claims. Using a light hand, made the foundation look very matte and powdery. I wouldn’t say this has more of a soft matte finish. I think those with a combination skin type would love it and get more of that glow without looking oily.

The self-adjusting formula was pretty spot on, which impressed me as I have had issues in the past with these kinds of foundations looking very orange. The best way for me to apply it was with a brush as a Beauty Blender did suck up a lot of product. There are 3 shades in total which is a little disappointing as I don’t feel like the darkest shades would cover those with a deep skin tone. I used the shade Light on my Mac NW20-25 skin tone. I think this is a great everyday foundation that I will be wearing a lot over the coming months. For this review, I wore the foundation for a total of 7.5 hours. I used the Natasha Denona Face Glow Primer Hydrating Underbase, didn’t set with a powder and also didn’t use a setting spray as I really wanted to test out its longevity. I had quite a busy day with the kids so I was very happy with the lasting power. As you can see in the below photos,  I still have a decent coverage on my face it’s only really worn off around my mouth, chin, and nose area. The Glam Beige Healthy Glow Foundation is available from Priceline for $24.95

Oh wow, I haven’t heard of this before but it sounds lovely! I probably wouldn’t have even considered it until you said that it didn’t really go orange like other ones you’ve tried, now I’m tempted haha sounds like the perfect thing for summer!
