Product Review: Elucent Whitening Skincare

Today I want to introduce you to the Elucent Whitening Skincare range. You may remember a couple of weeks back I posted a review of a skincare system I had previously been using. I had a few emails from you guys wanting a possible more affordable alternative and something that was a little more accessible. This range is specifically targeted for those where pigmentation/sun damage is the main concern. The products contain ingredients like Vitamin E for skin elasticity, Vitamin C for brightening and Phyllanthus Emblica Fruit Extract to help improve skin tone.

What Elucent say about their Whitening Skincare:

“Elucent Whitening uses a multifunctional skin brightening technology to help restore the complexion. Each skin brightening ingredient in Elucent Whitening has been carefully selected for its ability to help brighten the skin and even out skin tone. By using a combination of ingredients, each product works synergistically with the skin to help restore light and brightness for a more even complexion.”

Whitening Exfoliating Cleanser $22.99
This is a cleanser and exfoliator in one. I really like that the exfoliating beads are not too abrasive and gentle enough for me to use most days. The product has a light fresh scent that isn’t too overpowering. Because the system contains ingredients to help remove the build-up of dead skin cells I really like that this product helps reveal fresher looking look underneath.

Whitening Spot Corrector $36.99

After cleansing, I apply the Whitening Spot Corrector to the mains areas of concern, which is around the tops of the cheeks. Containing ingredients like Safflower Seed Oil to help visibly reduce the appearance of dark spots and gives the skin an all over brightness This is a very light lotion that absorbs into the skin quickly and feels very soothing.

Whitening Day Moisturiser $36.99
Another 2 in 1 product this day cream also contains an SPF30 which like we know is extremely important when you are using any products for pigmentation. A little goes along with this one and the product does feel quite thick when its first applied. Those with a combo/oily skin type should take note.  However once absorbed feel nice and gives the complexion a glowy finish.

Whitening Night Moisturizer $36.99

This product has been my favourite from the line and very similar to the previous night cream I have been using. It is a lovely thick, rich and extremely hydrating product that feels so nice to apply at the end of a long day. Once applied it refreshes the skin and makes it feel so supple and soft. I love how my skin feels in the morning after using it the night before. To me, this product is the real hero of the range.

The line also includes an eye cream and hand cream.  Elucent Whitening range is sold exclusively to Chemist Warehouse and My Chemist. Find out more information at
